Sialkot Customs DC Ilyas urges officials to perform duties honestly

SIALKOT: Model Customs Collectorate Deputy Collector Muhammad Ilyas has instructed all subordinate staff to perform duty honestly and never try to involve in any illegal activity.

In He said that the main objective of the Pakistan Customs Services was to facilitate the trade and exports. He added that Sialkot was an export oriented city, so the facilities to the exporters will not only ease trade but also imposed positive impacts on the national revenue.

He also urged the officials to cooperate with exporters, especially small medium enterprises in the larger interest of the country and best image of the customs deparment.

He warned that officials will have to face departmental proceedings, if they found involved in any illegal activity. The department will also take proper action on the complaints lodged by exporters or others against the officials.
