SIALKOT: The Customs has collected Rs 30 million during March 2016. The revenue was generated from auction, dry port, GPO and airport .
Assistant Collector Fahad Bashir Chaudhry told Customs Today that the Customs Department collected Rs 25.330 million from dry port, Rs 1.670 million from GPO, Rs 1 million from airport and Rs 2.00 millions from auction.
He said that the Federal Board of Revenue assigned the target of Rs 24 million for the month of March but the department has achieved more than the assigned target. He said customs officials are taking every possible measure to achieve the target before June 2016 and they are optimistic that this target will be achieved.
