They started checking vehicles on Grand Trunk Road (GTR) from Wazirabad To Kharian. The team recovered 249 bags of Indian origin cumin seeds valued Rs. 1.6 million. The team asked Driver Shahzaib Ahmed about the documents of custom paid duty but he failed to prove the status of the item. The driver told the team that cumin seeds were uploaded from the truck stand of Mirpur (AJK) and he knows nothing.

The team seized cumin seeds and shifted the bags to the store room of the MCC Sialkot and released Driver with Mazada Truck after proper interrogation. The team has registered a case under Section 157/158 of customs bylaws. The team will refer the case to the adjudication court for proceeding. If learned court will announce judgment in favour of the MCC Sialkot then the MCC will auction off the item under the Customs Act-1969.
