SIALKOT: Deputy Collector Customs Sialkot Waheed Anwar presided over a prestigious ceremony held at Customs Collectorate Sialkot in connection with the International Customs Day.
Speaking on the occasion, Anwar and other officials highlighted the importance of Digital Customs and Progressive Engagement there, besides, pledging to resolve all the prolonged perturbing problems being faced by the Sialkot exporters. The officials assured the exporters of their sincere efforts to facilitate them.
The deputy collector said that Sialkot Customs was providing advanced export-related facilities to Sialkot exporters and importers besides ensuring rapid clearance of the export consignments at Sialkot Dry Port Trust (SDPT) and Sialkot International Airport.
He revealed that the One Window Operation and establishment of Single Examination Assessment Office at the shade yard of Sialkot Dry Port Trust (SDPT) by Sialkot Customs was earning the great confidence of the Sialkot exporters, as they have been expressing their complete satisfaction and confidence over these great facilities provided by the Sialkot Customs.
Deputy Collector Waheed Anwar revealed that the Sialkot exporters also took very keen interest in enhancing their exports from Sialkot, as Sialkot Customs was successfully motivating them to do their exports from Sialkot Dry Port Trust (SDPT) and Sialkot International Airport, saying that the Sialkot exporters have been injecting the fresh blood into the national economy by earning the precious foreign exchange, playing their pivotal role in strengthening the national economy and boosting the national exports.
He said that Sialkot Customs is rapidly becoming a Center of Excellence with the active cooperation of the Sialkot based industrialists, exporters and importers, as Sialkot Customs was successfully motivating them to do their business through Sialkot Dry Port Trust (SDPT) and Sialkot International Airport.
He pledged to leave no stone unturned for promoting the exports and imports through Sialkot Dry Port, saying that Sialkot Dry Port Trust (SDPT) was now offering the special services, which were the international standard services.
He said that there was a huge potential of exports from export-oriented Sialkot city through the Sialkot Dry Port and even the Sialkot International Airport.
