Sialkot Customs seizes 275 cell phones worth Rs 4m

SIALKOT: The Pakistan Customs officials confiscated 275 cellular phones worth Rs 4 million at Sialkot International Airport Limited (SIAL), which were being smuggled into Pakistan by evading leviable duty/taxes.

Reportedly, a person named Iqbal Dastagir arrived at Sialkot airport by flight NL-796 of Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) from Sharjah who was intercepted by customs officials following credible information received through Assistant Collector Fahad Bashir Chaudhry.
