Sialkot earns $2 billion per annum foreign exchange: Deputy Collector Waheed Abro

SIALKOT: Deputy Collector Customs Waheed Anwar Abro has said that exports from Sialkot are increasing day by day and the slump in exports is decreasing. He said that the ratio of FCL (full container load) and LCL (less container load) export have improved while the export from Sialkot Dry Port Trust (SDPT) and Sialkot International Airport Limited (SIAL) has increased 13 percent during the first four months of the fiscal year 2016-17.

Talking to Customs Today Wheed said that the Sialkot export s are mostly depended on cottage industry and the items of this industry are being exported in whole world. He said that Sialkot is export oriented city and this city is hub of export and exporters of Sialkot are roaming ambassadors of the country while Sialkot is earning $2 billion per annum as foreign exchange.
