SIALKOT: The exporters of Sialkot have started export through Sialkot Dry Port Trust (SDPT) and Sialkot International Airport Limited (SIAL) after the Lahore High Court (LHC) restricted the Punjab government from receiving 0.9 tax in the wake of Infrastructure Development Cess.

Sources told Customs Today that the exporters of Sialkot were sending their consignments to Karachi for clearance and loading because the government of Punjab imposed 0.9 tax in the wake of Infrastructure Development Cess and the process of consignments clearance was halted at SDPT and airport and exports had witnessed downward trend.
