SIALKOT: The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) Gujranwala Region nabbed 152 human traffickers-cum-proclaimed offenders and recovered Rs 1.5 million during one month operation against human traffickers.
The FIA teams arrested accused persons from Lala Musa, Gujrat, Kharian, Sialkot, Wazirabad, Bahauddin, Narowal, Shakargah, Hafiazabad and Head Marala.FIA has sent challan of cases in courts against 132 human traffickers whereas inquiries in other cases are underway.
Reportedly, on the strict directions of Deputy Director Khalid Anees, senior Inspector Malik Nasir Majeed started crackdown against human traffickers in Gujranwala, Sialkot and Faisalabad along with his team.
The accused were involved in illegal process of sending people abroad on fake documents and visas.
