Sialkot, Gujranwala RTOs receives 63,000 tax returns till Jan 31

SIALKOT: As many as 63,000 taxpayers deposited their annual tax return at both Sialkot and Gujranwala Regional Tax Offices (RTOs) till the deadline ended on January 31, 2016.

As per details, the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) had given special targets of collection of 73,000 tax returns (40,000 for Gujranwala RTO and 33000 for Sialkot RTO). Now, both of these RTOs could receive 63,000.

According to the senior officials of, 29,000 taxpayers have submitted their annual tax returns at Sialkot RTO comprising Sialkot, Narowal and Gujrat district against its fixed official target of 33,000 tax returns, while 33000 taxpayers have submitted their tax returns at Gujranwala RTO comprising Gujranwala, Hafizabad and Mandi Bahauddin districts against its fixed official target of 40,000 tax returns.
