Sialkot RTO starts campaign against tax evaders

SIALKOT: The Regional Tax Offices has started a campaign against tax evaders to achieve revenue collection target.

According to sources, the RTO has constituted various teams which will conducted raids at various factories, hotels, restaurants, marriage halls, shopping plazas and markets owned by tax defaulters. During the raids, the teams will check all the tax record of the properties.

Teams warned these tax evaders to clear their pending tax dues before June 30, 2016 to avoid stern action. Sources said that after expiry of deadline the authorities will start their action and will not spare anyone who found involved in tax evasion. Sources said that authorities will attach bank accounts of tax defaulters, and will also seal their properties till the clearance of their tax dues.
