Simultaneous welcome and farewell dinner given to Dr Jadoon & Dr Arslan

ISLAMABAD: The customs officers of the North Region hosted a welcome-dinner in honour of the newly appointed Collector Model Customs Collectorate Islamabad Dr. Saeed Khan Jadoon simultaneously a dinner was given in honor of outgoing Collector Dr. Arslan.

In his welcoming speech, Collector Dr Saeed Khan Jadoon said he considered outgoing Collector Dr. Arslan as his teacher from whom he learned a lot because he (Jadoon) is junior to him (Dr. Arslan). During his speech, he told about his wonderful performance at the Collectorate of MCC Quetta. During his tenure, the Collectorate of Quetta surpassed all the assigned revenue targets.
Dr. Saeed Khan told that he bought 71-acer of land for Pakistan Customs and he also purchased 100-kanal of land for the customs staff housing purposes.

During his tenure at Quetta, he made good relations with civil and military bureaucracy. Jadoon further said the MCC Islamabad is our own collectorate and we all will work together for its betterment.
Chief Collector Sarwat Tahira Habib in her address said the newly appointed collector is a thorough gentleman and has a good repute in the Customs Department. He is an honest and hardworking man. Talking about the outgoing Collector Dr. Arslan, she remarked that she spent a long working period of 20 to 25 years with Arslan and found him a “trusty person”.
Talking on the occasion, Dr. Arslan presented the welcoming remarks for newly appointed Collector MCC Islamabad Dr. Saeed Khan Jadoon. He opined that Jadoon can perform well because he has a lot of experience at different collectorates.

He said he feels proud of confronting the challenges and always met the revenue targets during his stay at MCC Islamabad. “His team of MCC Islamabad performed above the capacity”, he added. He concluded by saying that he has taken many initiatives during his tenure.
