Sindh Excise generates Rs 2.75m in February

KARACHI: The Sindh Excise and Taxation Department has recovered Rs 2.75 million property tax in central, east and west districts in February.

Sources told Customs Today that the defaulters, who had not filed their property tax for a long time, had also cleared the outstanding dues after they were issued final notices.

It is pertinent to mention here that during property tax survey, the Excise and Taxation Department has issued final notices to 923 property tax defaulters and warns them to file their returns till deadline date, February 29, otherwise, their properties would be sealed.
