Sindh Excise starts crackdow against marriage halls

KARACHI: The Sindh Excise and Taxation Department has started crackdown against the marriage halls which are involved in tax evasion.

Sources informed Customs Today that the department dispatched property tax notices to the marriage halls. Most of these marriage halls are located in Sakhi Hasan and Korangi Road. Previously, the department sent them many reminders to pay sales tax but these marriage halls are avoiding to pay the same.
