KARACHI: Department of Excise and Taxation Sindh is going to start Motor Vehicle Tax Recovery Campaign from June 15, 2015. During this campaign, six special teams will be deputed on different locations of the city to check defaulting vehicles and recover tax. Excise and taxation officers will supervise this campaign.
It is pertinent to mention that this is fourth campaign to recover motor vehicle tax from defaulters. Talking to Customs Today one official of Excise Department Mohammad Bashir Khaskehli said that during this campaign any vehicle which will be seized only release after payment of token tax dues. He said that during these campaign people gets fruitful information about tax payments.
