Sindh Revenue Board cancels registration of three clearing agents

KARACHI: Sindh Revenue Board cancels sales tax registration of three clearing agents and advised them to clear the outstanding dues against them till August, 27, 2015 otherwise stern action will be taken against them.

Sources told Customs Today, that SRB ordered to stop operations of Mariam Knitwear, RT Enterprises, and Ahbab Associates. Sources further revealed that SRB takes this step according to sales tax service rules of 2010 and 2011.

Sources said that Mariam Knitwear Services files 1022 declarations from the period from August 2012 to March 2015 that shows that company deals with customers but did not file tax returns for the above said period. Other two remaining firms and involves in same practice so all these  companies are asked to clear the outstanding dues.
