Sindh Revenue Board collects Rs 4. 89 billion during December 2015

KARACHI: The Sindh Revenue Board collected Rs 4.89 billion in December while Rs 1.44 billion were collected in first ten days of the month.

Tax Advisor Sindh Revenue Board Mushtaq Kazmi told Customs Today that SRB collected Rs 4.6 billion in November 2015. He said the whole staff of the SRB is working hard to enhance revenue collections in January. He said that he is optimistic that SRB will definitely achieve revenue target set for the current fiscal year

He said that the SRB has already dispatched notices to tax defaulters and this process was started from the last month. He said that 2,200 defaulters have deposited their outstanding dues in December. He said that remaining tax defaulters promised that they would clear their outstanding dues this month.
