Sindh Revenue Board suspends registration of Shafaq Enterprises

KARACHI: The Sindh Revenue Board (SRB) has suspended the sales tax registration of M/s. Shafaq Enterprises as the company is involved in tax evasion.

Sources told Customs Today that the company failed to deposit Rs 1.3 million in the national kitty as sales tax payable amount from May  2014. Sources said that many reminders were sent to the company but the company failed to clear the outstanding amount.

It is pertinent to mention here, that Sindh Revenue Board had given it November 10 as a deadline to clear the dues but it did not bother to reply. The Sindh Revenue Board has already suspended the registration of M/s. Anwar Chaudhary and Sons due to tax evasion.
