Singapore port cargo traffic increases 0.5% to 291.43m tonnes in H1

SINGAPORE: Cargo traffic at the Port of Singapore from January through June increased by 0.5% compared with the same period a year earlier to 291.43 million tonnes, the Port Authority reported provisional figures.

Handling of oil products grew by 1.8% to 96.5 million tonnes, while container throughput fell 3% to 16 million TEUs.
