SINGAPORE: Singapore-listed China Medical (International) Group (CMIG) has announced that it will be acquiring a 51 per cent stake in medical services companies Eastlife and Maxglobe for a sum of S$9.5 million from their parent corporation Asia Pacific Medical Group. The consideration will comprise S$6.5 million in cash and S$3 million in shares.
Together, Eastlife and Maxglobe own The Sloane Clinic, an aesthetic and plastic surgery chain with four clinics located in Singapore and two in Malaysia. Asia Pacific Medical Group is a wholly-owned medical group of Bain Capital and is advised by and affiliate.
