SINGAPORE: Singapore authorities have seized more than S$15,600 of cannabis from a Malaysia-registered car at Woodlands Checkpoint, said the Immigration and Checkpoints Authority (ICA) on Tuesday.
On Monday at about 7.40pm, ICA officers found a black bundle containing 475g of cannabis under the front passenger seat of the vehicle, during routine inspection at the checkpoint.
The passenger in the car, a 27-year-old Malaysian man, was arrested. The man and the seized drugs were referred to the Central Narcotics Bureau, and investigations are ongoing.
