KARACHI: President SITE Association of Industry, Abdul Rasheed has expressed deep concern over supply of contaminated & poor quality water to industries of SITE.
In an official correspondence sent to MD KWSB with a copy to Minister Local Govt. Syed Nasir Hussain Shah, SAI president said that the supply of bad quality water results in huge losses to our member industries as production is stopped, production chemicals go to waste and underground tanks need to be cleaned, apart from wastage of thousands of gallons of water.
He added that to make matters worse, the Water Board charges members for the supply of inferior quality water as well, which is adding insult to injury.
Abdul Rasheed urged the MD KWSB to take notice of the supply of poor quality water to SITE industries and take swift action to rectify the issue and prevent this mishap from happening again.
