LAHORE – The measures taken by the government to fight the petrol crisis have started bearing fruit as several petrol stations in Lahore were reportedly servicing customers and the long queues outside pumps in Rawalpindi & Islamabad were also reduced to some extent.

It was also recorded that 11,500 tons of petrol was supplied to stations throughout the country yesterday, while another 4,500 tons was to reach last night. As per the petroleum ministry, the crisis is being resolved due to vigilant monitoring and the situation will continue to improve over the coming days. Oil marketing companies have also been asked to make sure that a supply of 15,500 tons was sent daily to stations throughout the country.
