Six appraising officers of Lahore promoted as principal appraisers

LAHORE: Customs officers including four Appraising Officers of Pakistan Customs Service (PCS) are promoted to the post of Principal Appraiser (BS-16) with immediate effect and until further orders.

Promoted officers include Appraising Officer Customs Preventive Abdul Hameed, Muhammad Afzal, Customs Preventive Lahore, Appraising Officer Tabasum Shahzad, Directorate of Post Clearance Audit, Lahore, Appraising Officer Muhammad Ejaz Cheema, Directorate of Intelligence & Investigation (Customs), Lahore, Appraising Officer Muhammad Yousaf Ansari, Appraisement Lahore, Appraising Officer Ghulam Nabi Zafar, Directorate of Internal Audit (Customs), Lahore

Their promotion will take effect from the date of their joining, subject to the condition that no disciplinary proceedings/enquiry is pending against them.

They will be on probation for a period of one year, extendable for further period, not exceeding one year, provided that if no order is issued by the day following the termination of probationary period, the appointment shall deem to be held until further orders. The officers already drawing Performance Allowance equal to 100% of basic pay will continue to draw it on their promotion.

The officers are allowed to actualize their promotion at the present place of posting. Their transfer/ posting will be made later on in due course. The Federal Board of Revenue (Hqrs.) congratulates the above-named officers on their promotion.
