Six arrested for smuggling drugs across Oman

Muscat: The Directorate General for Combating Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances of Royal Oman Police (ROP) arrested three persons of different nationalities for smuggling 14kg of drugs in Muscat. In another case, ROP arrested an Asian and seized 5kg of drugs in Seeb. An attempt to smuggle marijuana through Muscat International Airport was also foiled.

All the accused were referred to the prosecution for further proceedings.
