In the crackdown launched against profiteers mafia, Assistant Commissioner Waqas Marth raided various markets and booked and fined many shopkeepers for profiteering and selling low quality expired goods.
Six traders mostly butchers were booked under section 3/7 price act, four were fined and dozens more were warned against profiteering. The traders were directed to maintain cleanliness.
