SLIC, NIB Bank sign bancassurance distribution agreement

KARACHI: State Life Insurance Corporation of Pakistan (SLIC) and NIB Bank have signed a bancassurance distribution agreement, through which the SLIC products would be offered by the bank to existing and potential customers.

The agreement was signed by Gian Chand Kewalramani, General Manager, Bancassurance, SLIC, Jaudat Hussain, Group Head Retail Banking, NIB Bank and Mohammad Naseem Rawther, COO, GBA Services (Pvt) Limited, who, under the terms of the agreement, will provide certain administrative, software and related services to SLIC.

The agreement signing ceremony was attended by Nargis Ghaloo, Chairperson, SLIC, Atif R. Bokhari, President & CEO, NIB Bank, Executive Directors of SLIC, Aijaz Ali Khan, M. Izqar Khan, and NIB Bank representatives Dina Shaban, General Manager South, and Sarah Irfan, Head of Bancassurance among others.
