LAHORE: The Customs Taxation and Anti Smuggling Special Court has granted a 14-day judicial remand of an accused in gold smuggling case.
After completing the interrogation from accused Fakhar Mahmood during a three-day physical remand, Customs Intelligence presented him in the special court and the judge sent the accused on a 14-day judicial remand.
It is pertinent to mention here that Fakhar, coming from Dubai, was arrested by customs authorities at the Lahore airport on recovering 4.38kg raw gold and ornaments worth Rs 16 million from his luggage.
