Smuggling bid foiled at Karachi airport, 2.35kg gold, Rs 3.14m foreign currency seized

KARACHI: The Customs officials Monday foiled another bid of smuggling more than two-kilogram gold and foreign currency worth millions of rupees at Jinnah International Airport.

According to the source, the officials searched some passengers and arrested three suspects after recovering 2.35-kilogram gold worth Rs 1.6 million and foreign currency worth Rs 3.142 million.
