COLOMBO: A Sri Lankan passenger arriving from India was arrested at the airport for smuggling 260 parts of satellite receivers and 50 kg of big onion seeds worth Rs. 400,000, according to Sri Lankan customs official.
The customs official said that the goods which were concealed in four bags were forfeited and a penalty of Rs. 50,000 was imposed on the suspect.
