KARACHI: Smuggling is taking place through imported cars in the country. Sources told Customs Today it has been brought into the notice of the FBR that documents of non-duty paid vehicles were cleared many times before. Authorities are also busy in investigating that smuggled cars are being cleared in place of imported cars.
Keeping in view this situation, now the FBR authorities have decided to conduct surprising raids at different warehouses of non-duty paid vehicles. Authorities already pass on instructions to all the concerned that no concession would be given to those who found involved in this illegal practice. According to sources, heavy penalty and strict legal action will be taken against those who will found involved in this business.
