SNGPL disconnects gas supply to defaulters in recovery of Rs5,694,150

LAHORE: The Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited (SNGPL) has started crackdown against gas bill defaulters and disconnected gas supply to various consumers in different cities.

SNGPL Managing Director Arif Hameed has ordered to disconnect government/special domestic defaulters that owed Rs5,694,150 of the company.

As per the company, the SNGPL has disconnected supply to two consumers of Attock, six consumers of Lahore, one consumer of Kasur, two consumers of Fateh Jang, one consumer of Chakwal, one consumer of Mianwali, one consumer of Kamoke, three consumers of Gujrat, two consumers of Shiekhupura, three consumers of Islamabad, one consumer of Murree and two consumers of Rawalpindi.

Similarly, the supply to following consumers has been disconnected: Office of the Superintendent Police Attock (Rs. 1,379,290), EADA, Agriculture Department Attock (Rs. 147,950), GE (A) North Lahore Cantt. (Rs. 638,730), Govt.
