SNGPL increases gas supply for domestic consumers: GM

MULTAN: General Manager Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited (SNGPL) Mir Bahadar Khan said that SNGPL increased gas supply to city in order to meet increasing demand in the wake of changing weather.

About 5 to 6 million cubic feet has been added to the supply to meet the growing requirements of city.”We are trying our best to fulfill public demand, so that the citizens should not feel any inconvenience”, SNGPL general manager expressed these remarks while talking to APP here on Wednesday.

He further said that SNGPL also reduced supply from 11 p.m. to 5 a.m. However, maximum gas supply was being ensured during cooking hours to facilitate domestic consumers. Mir Bahadar observed that some citizens were using compressors which were affecting fair distribution of gas.

Officials were inspecting different areas, he said and urged citizens to avoid using compressors or else face strict action. About gas supply to industry, the GM said the supply to industrial units had also been increased.
