SNGPL stops gas supply to defaulters

LAHORE: The Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited (SNGPL) has disconnected defaulting consumers’ connections having cumulative dues amounting to Rs 4 million.

According to a spokesman for the SNGPL, Managing Director Amjad Latif ordered for disconnecting supply to government and domestic defaulting consumers. In order to recover the outstanding dues from the government and special domestic consumers in several regions, the SNGPL disconnected gas supply to the following consumers: 25 Barraged HQ Bahawalpur (Rs 588,8701), Punjab Building Department, PWD Secretariat Lahore (Rs 515,600).
