SNGPL to ensure transparency through computerized new gas connections

ISLAMABAD: General Manager Sui Northern Gas Pipeline Limited (SNGPL) Islamabad Region, Ejaz Ahmad Chaudhry on Monday said that new gas connections would be provided through computerized system to facilitate the consumer as well as ensure transparency.

Talking to APP, he said that the new gas connections would only be provided on first come and first serve basis.

He said that merit is the top priority as the whole procedure is computerized and all new connections are provided in sequence to the applicants.

He said SNGPL has introduced a uniform phone No. 1199 for registration of complaints to provide better services to consumers.

He said that SNGPL is also upgrading the skills of emergency attending teams through equipping them with proper training so that they can handle the consumer’s complaints with prompt attention.
