MIRPUR: The local business community has elected Sohaib Saeed Chaudhry unopposed as the President Azad Jammu Kashmir Chamber of Commerce and Industry for 2015-2016.
Meanwhile, Raja Khalid Mahmood and Kamal Mustafa were elected unopposed respectively as Sr. Vice President and Vice President of the Chamber for the same period in the elections held here on Friday. The newly-elected Sr. Vice President Raja Khalid Mahmood Khan retained the same office for the second term to serve the chamber. Non of the rival candidates jumped to contest against the newly-elected all three victorious office bearers of the AJKCCI by the end of the stipulated date fixed for filing of the nomination papers for the elections to the AJKCCI.
