MULTAN: Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has decided to take stern action against Sohan Halwa exporters involved in tax evasion.
Talking to mediamen, Deputy Director Regional Tax Office (RTO) Mukhtiar Hussain Tahim said that during winter season demand of Sohan Halwa gains momentum as is exported to all over the world.
He said that the FBR teams currently preparing a list of those exporters who tried to evade taxes while exporting Sohan Halwa.
He further said that nowadays these teams completing their groundwork. Mukhtiar Hussain said that some exporters earn billions of rupees by exporting Sohan Halwa but avoiding to pay leviable taxes.
