LONDON: Solar cell maker Solartech Energy has reported consolidated revenues of NT$664 million (US$20.8 million) for July, falling 34.8% on month and 24.33% on year, and those of NT$6.848 billion for January-July grew 34.92% on year.

The revenues declined as July’s average selling price (ASP) dropped nearly 10% on month and Solartech declined orders offering low prices, the company explained. As demand in the China market drastically decreased following a rush for setting up PV power stations with total installation capacity of 20GWp in first-half 2016, Solartech is conservative about business operations in August.
