NEW DELHI: Sony has started the roll-out of Android 5.0 Lollipop update for Xperia Z2 smartphone in the Indian market. The update is now available via the PC Companion application and there is no word on when it will arrive over-the-air (OTA).
It is important to note here that software updates are released in phases and not everyone will get it right-away.
The update is over 1GB in size, so make sure you have time and decent internet connectivity before beginning the update install process.
According to Sony, it includes Android 5.0 base, material design changes, latest versions of Sony apps, lock-screen enhancements, upgraded notifications, multi-user profiles, guest mode, apps to SD support and performance enhancements.
