TOKYO: Sony is supposedly planning on increasing prices of Playstation Plus in Europe and the UK as many users on various forums have been reporting on getting emails notifying them on the change. Sony confirmed this report.
They’ll be increasing the price of monthly and quarterly tiers while the yearly prices stay the same.
Currently in Europe a month of PS Plus costs €6.99 that goes up to €49.99 for a year. Starting from September 1 however, the three-month prices will rise from €14.99 to €19.99. In the UK, Sony will increase the three-month prices from £11.99 to £14.99.
Sony North America is still quiet on if they’re going to be following their European wing in the price increase as well.
