TOKYO: Sony has released a new gameplay footage for its upcoming title, Yakuza: Zero which offers an introduction of the game’s characters.
The actual gameplay footage kicks off from 03:30 minute mark and is also accompanied by the developer’s commentary. As seen above, the footage is recorded of the game’s Playstation 4 version and introduces the game’s characters.
Yakuza: Zero is the sixth installment in the popular Yakuza franchise which serves as a prequel and is set in fictional cities of Kamurocho and Soutenburi (after Tokyo and Osaka) in December 1988. It puts players in the shoes of 20 years old Kazuma Kiryu who works as a collector for the Tojo Clan and 24 years old Goro Majima who used to run a popular Soutenburi Cabaret Club before it got shut down.
Since the game is directly linked with the original Yakuza, players can expect to see many familiar faces from the past. You can check out the video above and share your impressions with us in the comments below!
