Sony Xperia Z2a available in $600, while HTC Desire 826 from $350 to $500 price with excellent features

TOKYO: Here is a brief comparison of the Sony Xperia Z2a against the HTC Desire 826 to see which of these smartphones the better purchase is.

According to the specs from GSMArena, the Sony Xperia Z2a dimension is 137 x 72 x 11 mm, and weighs around 163 grams. It has a 5 inch IPS LCD screen that can render a resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels with a pixel density of 441 ppi, and has a shatter proof glass for protection.

The HTC Desire 826 on the other hand, is equipped with a bigger display at 5.5 inches, and it’s a Super LCD3 screen. The screen can render a resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels at 401 ppi pixel density. Its physical dimensions are 158 x 77.5 x 8 mm, and weighs heavier at 183 grams.

The Sony Xperia Z2a processor is a Quad-core 2.3 GHz Krait 400 with a Qualcomm MSM8974AB Snapdragon 801 chipset and Adreno 330 for graphics. It has RAM capacity is at 3GB with an internal memory of 16GB that can expand up to 128GB, and runs on the Android OS, v4.4.2 (KitKat).

The HTC Desire 826 has two sets of processors: a quad-core 1.7 GHz Cortex-A53, and a quad-core 1.0 GHz Cortex-A53. Both processors are powered by a Qualcomm MSM8939 Snapdragon 615, and Adreno 405 chipset. It has 2GB of RAM with an internal memory of 16GB, and runs on the Android OS, v5.0.1 (Lollipop).

The Sony handset has a powerful primary camera at 20,7MP with features such as autofocus, LED flash, 1/2.3” sensor size, geo-tagging, touch focus, face detection, HDR, and panorama, Its secondary shooter is VGA, and a non-removable Li-Ion 3000 mAh battery that can last up to 19 hours.

The HTC device has a primary camera of 13MP, and a secondary camera of 4MP. Its features include autofocus, LED flash, geo-tagging, touch focus, face detection, simultaneous HD video and image recording, and HDR. Its battery has a capacity of 2600 mAh.

The Sony Xperia Z2a is worth around $600, while the HTC Desire 826 is around $350 to $500.
