CAPE TOWN: Alexander Forbes Group said on Monday that full-year net operating income from continuing operations, net of direct expenses, lifted 12% to R4.9bn.
The financial services group, which relisted on the JSE last year, said a weaker rand against the pound had had a positive effect on its offshore operations. Operating profits from continuing operations, before non-trading and capital items, rose 10.4% to R1.13bn in the year to March.
The company said the Investment Solutions, AF Insurance and AfriNet divisions delivered strong performances. A cash dividend of 12c per ordinary share was declared.
