South African police seize counterfeit currency, nab two smugglers

JOHANNESBURG: South African police have seized fake currency and nabbed two culprits near Lanseria in Johannesburg here the other night.

It’s understood officers made the discovery during a routine operation last night.

Further investigation led the police to a guest house where they found more fake notes of about R14,000.

The police’s Daniel Mavimbela says several items used in the crime have been seized.
