South Korea crude oil imports from Iran fall 1.3% in 2014

SEOUL: South Korea’s crude oil imports from Iran fell 1.3 percent in December from a year earlier,while crude imports from Tehran last year fell 6.8 percent year on year, data from state-run Korea National Oil Corp (KNOC) showed on Thursday.

Last month’s total crude oil shipments by the world’s fifth-largest crude importer rose 8.9 percent year on year to 80.8 million barrels, according to the data.
