SEOUL: Seoul shares ended higher on Wednesday.
The benchmark Korea Composite Stock Price Index (KOSPI) gained 13.68 points, or 0.66 percent, to 2,072.91 at the close. Trading volume stood at 613.19 million shares worth 7.49 trillion won (6. 56 billion U.S. dollars).
The South Korean currency finished at 1,143.6 won against the greenback, down 1.0 won from Tuesday’s close.
