SEOUL: The South Korean won sank to a 10-week low against the U.S. dollar Tuesday, moving in lockstep with major counterparts’ slides against the greenback on growing speculation that the U.S. Federal Reserve will hike borrowing costs, analysts said.
The Korean won was changing hands at 1,113.90 per dollar as of 1:30 p.m., down 3.7 won from the previous session’s close, extending its fall to a six consecutive day.
