BRENT: Two US astronauts will go ahead with a spacewalk this weekend despite a flaw in one of the spacesuits that allowed water to seep into the helmet.
Mission managers have made the decision to proceed after discussing what NASA is calling a minor seepage.
They say it was caused by a cooling component that can condense once the environment around the suit is repressurised.
Given the all clear, Flight Engineer Terry Virts and colleague Barry Wilmore will now be able to install antennas on the International Space Station that will provide navigational data to visiting spacecraft.
