Both these Grand Turismo Sport models are available for purchase across all dealerships in India.

Under the hood, both the vehicles have the same engine with 6 cylinder engine featuring a 3.4 litre capacity but the output churned out by the two vehicles is a bit different but not by a long margin. Porsche Boxster GTS belts out 330bhp power whereas Porsche Cayman GTS builds up 340 horses.

In case of Porsche Cayman GTS, power is transferred to the rear wheels where the supercar also gets options in terms of transmission system with a conventional 6 speed manual gearbox and 7 speed PDK gearboxes. The said gearbox manages to deliver a faster speed than the manual one with the 0 to 100kmph duration being a matter of just 4.6 seconds. Torque generated in Cayman is a little more than the junior sibling with 380Nm peak throughput coming at 4750 to 5800rpm.

Top speed for the supercar is 283kmph which is a tad above what Porsche Boxster GTS provides. Fuel economy is never the focal point of discussion for most sport scars as it is never the priority for its potential buyers. In any case, the mileage for Porsche Cayman GTS is 6.3kmpl for cities and 11.4kmpl on highways.

Other standard features with Porsche Cayman GTS includes the Porsche Active suspension management and electronic damping control system that provides a lot more control to the car along with better drivability. Porsche Cayman GTS is pretty quick to tackle sharp corners since the car allows quick application of brakes inside the rear wheel.

Inside the cabin the vehicle has an elegantly designed console system with a beautiful dashboard. The entire ensemble inside is finished with a combination of leather and a bit of Alcantara. The major noteworthy elements of the two cars from outside are certainly the Porsche Dynamic Light System and blackened bi-xenon headlights.

Porsche Boxster GTS is also available in options of PDK gearbox and the standard 6-speed manual transmission system. It is again one of the fastest vehicles in the range that can attain a top speed of 279kmph. The vehicle has a mammoth engine displacement of 3436cc that can deliver a torque of 370Nm at 4500 to 5800rpm. Mileage for Porsche Boxster GTS is 6.3kmpl in cities and 11.4kmpl on highways.

Mr. Anil Reddi who is the director of Porsche India said that the company hopes to cater to the sports car enthusiast of the country through Porsche Boxster GTS and Porsche Cayman GTS. He also said that the two vehicles assured a “rewarding ownership and driving experience.”

Porsche Boxster GTS is available in several graceful colors like Guard Red, Basalt Black Metallic, Sapphire Blue, Anthracite Brown Metallic, Racing Yellow, Agate Grey, Dark Blue Metallic and Mahogany Metallic, to name a few. Porsche Cayman GTS has almost the same colors but also offers options in GT Silver Metallic, White and Lime Gold Metallic.
