TORONTO: Sprint has rolled out “Best Buy One Plan” which is basically an unlimited plan that is exclusive to the retailer. By shelling out as little as $75 per month, consumers can make the iPhone 6, Galaxy S5 or the LG G3 theirs.
Sprint Corp. will offer a wireless phone plan only available at Best Buy Co. stores that the companies say provides a “more simplified way” to buy phone service.
The “Best Buy One Plan” includes unlimited, talk, text and data, and the lease of a device. The two-year plans the company mentioned Friday include an iPhone 16GB plan at $65 a month excluding taxes and fees, and a $75 plan for Android products.
In January, Sprint said it added 30,000 net postpaid customers in its fiscal third quarter, driven by its biggest number of gross postpaid additions in three years.
In December, the carrier made a move in the wireless industry’s price war by targeting AT&T Inc. and Verizon Communications Inc. subscribers with a “cut your wireless bill in half” plan that includes unlimited talk and text.
