KARACHI: The Sindh Revenue Board (SRB) has collected tax of Rs 4.77 billion in 27 days of the current month (October).
According to SRB, the department will achieve its target as four days of the current month are still remaining. Due to three holidays of Muharram, the tax collection remained slow. SRB has collected Rs 4.97 billion during the month of September which was Rs 360 million more than August.
The sources said that July remained top month with higher tax collection of Rs 5.30 billion in 2015. SRB also achieved its first quarter target of tax collection.
